Gripsholms Värdshus is located in the middle of charming Mariefred, just over an hour from Stockholm - easy to reach by both car and train. From Stockholm Central you can easily get to Läggesta station and from there it's just a short bus ride or taxi ride into town.

Want to make the journey part of the experience? During the summer months, you can take a boat from central Stockholm all the way to Mariefred. A journey through the beautiful landscape of Lake Mälaren.

We are also close to other major cities such as Eskilstuna, Södertälje, Västerås and Nyköping. This makes Gripsholms Värdshus an easily accessible destination, whether you come for the day or stay longer.
